Evidence-based science
Every recommendation is grounded in clinical research, completely free of wellness trends and restrictions. If the evidence does not support it, it does not make it into your plan.
Our story
Align & Nourish began with a simple observation, the wellness world is louder than it has even been, yet women feel more confused about food than ever before. Every week brings a new rule, a new restriction, a new diagnosis, a new reason to distrust your own plate. It can be incredibly easy to lose faith in your own body, choosing to live with the symptoms instead of truly understanding them.
We believe the answer is not another diet or weight loss injection. It is education. When you truly understand how your body works, how food shapes your energy, hormones, digestion, mood and long-term health, you no longer need to rely on quick fixes or endless guesswork. You become your own advocate, equipped to make confident decisions for decades, not weeks.
This is the heart of everything we do. Not quick fixes that fade, but knowledge that compounds. Not someone else’s template, but a practice grown carefully around your physiology, your routine and your life. Lasting wellness is not a 30-day challenge, it is a skill, which can be learned.
Founder, align & nourish
Philosophy & approach
Hi, I'm Poppy, the founder of Align & Nourish and a CPD-Certified Nutritionist.
I've always loved food and cooking, but my passion for nutrition grew from wanting to understand the powerful effect food has on our health. Growing up, I struggled with my relationship with food and felt confused by the endless stream of conflicting nutrition advice. As I began learning more, I became fascinated by the science behind nutrition and how different foods can influence everything from energy levels, digestion and skin health to mood, hormone balance and long-term disease prevention.
Travel played a huge role in shaping my perspective. During six months travelling throughout Asia and later three months exploring Australia and New Zealand, I experienced first-hand how food brings people together, through culture, connection, enjoyment and shared experiences. It reinforced my belief that healthy eating should enhance life, not restrict it.
At the same time, I experienced my own digestive and gut health challenges and became increasingly aware of the impact food was having on my wellbeing. When I returned home, I committed to understanding why. Through evidence-based nutrition, research and practical lifestyle changes, I was able to significantly improve my health and experience the direct power of nourishing the body well.
That journey inspired me to gain my accredited nutrition qualification and create Align & Nourish. A safe space where people can learn to understand their bodies, build confidence around food and create long lasting habits that support lifelong wellbeing.
My approach rests on three commitments. Honesty: I will always tell you what the science supports, even when it is less exciting than the latest trend. Patience: real change is built in small, repeatable steps, and I will never rush you through them. Respect: you are the expert on your own life. My job is to bring the knowledge, listen carefully, and build the plan around you, never the other way round.
Every person has unique goals, preferences, challenges and lifestyles, which is why my coaching focuses on creating an approach that works for you. I help clients understand the ‘why’ behind their choices so they can build confidence and experience the changes I believe everyone deserves to feel.
If you have spent years feeling like your body is a problem to be fixed, I would love to show you a different way of seeing it. One built on understanding, not restriction.
What we stand for
Every recommendation is grounded in clinical research, completely free of wellness trends and restrictions. If the evidence does not support it, it does not make it into your plan.
No two bodies, lifestyles or health journeys are the same. Every recommendation is tailored to your unique goals, symptoms, preferences and challenges, ensuring your plan works for you. There’s no one-size-fits all approach here.
Small sustainable changes compound over time. We build realistic habits rooted in what works for your life, not just what works in paper.
